What’s In Your Vacuum?

You Never Know!

"What’s In Your Vacuum?"
I reached for the vacuum cleaner
and surveyed the room;
badly needing this day's cleaning,
and 'twas none too soon!
First I had to dump the bag,
and noticing the weight,
I began to process
what seemed to be the fate... of
A paper clip, a small band-aide,
an old wadded up sock.
A cracked seashell, a dollar bill,
A feather from a hawk!
A button and some loose thread.
A torn up note, and pin.
A spiral spring, a plastic ring.
A shredded plastic fin?
A penny, pop-top, partial flip flop?
Dust and much debris?
Where did all this stuff come from?
The real Fiber McGee?
Granted, it was over due.
But when t'was said and done
I could not help but wonder,
Where did it all come from?
Guess we all have the proverbial baggage.
My Musing for the Week … UNMENTIONABLES?
One never knows, If one is inclined,
to search through their baggage
of life over time ...
There may lie riches
and sparkling gems
or there may lie secrets,
best left to the winds.
