language, If only for a season.
Be it contemporary, pop, country, jazz, gospel, etc.

We love oldies but goodies
they're like a long lost friend
bringing a familiar sound
into our world again.
Reminding us of years gone by
and carefree interludes
playing coyly with our hearts
and toying with our moods.
Lighting the emotions
that once had ruled our lives
capturing the moment
encased before our eyes.
Bound in the subconscious
wherein we reminisce
where only we ourselves revere
those times we think we miss
because we love the oldies
and we love to sing along
inspired by our memories
as fashioned by a song...
Let the music in your heart shine through.
