Grandpa's antique tools;

he loved to share them all.

The rustic and peculiar ones;

the huge ones and the small.

They really were a means by which

he also shared his heart

with his family and friends.

His tools were but a part

of who he was and what he did;

for the tales he told

were locked in times of yesteryear

and quiet days of old.

And while he shared all of these things, without vanity,

Grandpa left a wealth of treasure to our family.

Perhaps you know of someone

who was incredibly

influential in your life,

and will forever be

a source of inspiration,

a pillar of success.

Not found in perfection

but steeped in selflessness.

Thankful for such memories and influences that fill my heart to this day.
